American Preparation was founded to honor the wisdom and dignity of America's elders. Covid 19, exposed the need to support elders with services that ease their daily challenges, celebrate their stories, and keep them engaged with their local communities.
We are more than a nonprofit — we are a bridge between generations. By offering practical support, preserving oral histories, and creating opportunities for connection, we make sure elders in America live their later years with respect, peace, and joy.
We believe that every elder deserves to be seen, heard, valued and cared for- regardless of their income, background, or circumstances! We meet elders where they are with holistic, spiritual, and human centered companionship that focuses on their total well being. We provide free or low-cost services for elders who need them most.

City, state, and federal governments, along with healthcare providers, and insurance companies benefit from elders staying healthy, mobile and engaged. Just like public libraries, parks, and workforce centers are funded, shouldn't vital elder services also be funded? Our goal is to remove the cost barriers for elders in need of vital transportation, preserve their life stories, and reduce mental and physical health risks associated with isolation.
Vision
We envision an America where city, state, and federal governments, along with healthcare providers, insurance companies and free citizens work together to insure every elder is valued, connected, and supported — living their later years with respect, peace, and joy.
• The elder population is (65 million +) strong
• 1 in 4 elders experiences social isolation, which is linked to serious physical and mental health risks.
• Transportation challenges are among the top barriers preventing elders from receiving vital health care, food, and other essential services.
• Oral histories preserve cultural and family legacies, ensuring wisdom is passed on to future generations.
• Access to benefits like Social Security, Medicare and Private Insurances may not always provide extensive transportation services.
• American quality of life depends on the Haves and the Haves Nots, let's help the Have Nots.
